My story
I have always been a deeply sensitive person. For many years I experienced that sensitivity as a weakness, as something that made me feel different and vulnerable in the world.
During a time of great personal suffering, around 2006, I made a decision that would change the course of my life: I started attending yoga classes at a studio located right below my house.
I remember a very clear experience from that time. One day, while I was in the shower, I had a profoundly intense experience, a kind of astral projection in which I felt something inside me speaking to me. I didn't know how to interpret it and even thought I was going crazy. I went down to class and told my teacher about it. She was the first person who spoke to me about the "higher self." Without knowing it, that was the beginning of my spiritual journey.
For many years my journey was one of searching, of comings and goings, exploring, questioning, and learning. From the moment I began practicing yoga, I felt a deep curiosity to understand everything: the body, the mind, energy, and consciousness.
In 2019, I traveled to India to train in Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga. That trip was a turning point in my life. Upon returning, I began teaching yoga, and that's when I discovered my true purpose.
Teaching became a profoundly transformative energy exchange for me. In each practice, I observed not only the transformation of the people who practiced with me, but also my own.
Before dedicating myself fully to yoga, I also had a professional career in the business world, leading teams. That experience taught me something essential: when people feel seen, supported, and connected to themselves, their transformation is inevitable.
My training continued to expand after India. I have studied Vedanta, Yin Yoga, meditation, and pranayama, in addition to years of in-depth study of anatomy applied to yoga. I have also explored numerous self-awareness therapies and inner observation practices.
Sacred geometry also appeared on my path, and later, a true blessing: the discovery of quantum biogeometry and high natural intelligence. These principles are now part of my understanding of the body, energy, and the practice of yoga, both on and off the mat.
For me, yoga is not just a physical practice. It's a philosophy of life, a path of awareness, and a way to remember who we truly are.
My purpose is both simple and profound: to contribute to the well-being, awareness, and happiness of all the people who come into my life.
Namaste.
Barbara.
